As Mister Car Wash continues to add locations across the US, so expands its community impact. Last spring alone, the company awarded 30 teachers a total of $46,000 in cash and prizes. Here's what some of them had to say:

"I used my grant to remodel my classroom to offer more flexible seating and a more welcoming environment for my students. They love it," said Chasidy Burton of Nashville, TN.

"I used the grant for recess playground equipment for all our students to use. I also used part of the money for Physical Education equipment for my K – 5th Grade students," said Amy Hutcheson, of Marion, IA.

Amanda Knutson of Tucson, AZ said, "Having companies like Mister Car Wash choose to positively support education by investing their employees' time, energy and appreciation to pull this all together, along with a grant, is incredible and sends a positive message to our class, school, and community."

"We admire teachers who inspire their students to shine and we look forward to recognizing a record number of outstanding teachers again this year," said John Lai, CEO.
